This workshop will convene state health IT leaders, health information/community information exchanges, health data utilities, and implementers to discuss emerging programs, policies, and partnerships that are critical to advancing state-wide health data interoperability. Participants will engage with Amy Zimmerman, MPH, and Kate Ricker, M.S., both well-known experts in state health IT policies and leaders of the Civitas priority program, the State Health Technology Commons. Amy and Kate will facilitate a discussion, and Q&A, and lead interactive activities to elicit and prioritize emerging state and federal strategies, policies, and initiatives that are impacting state health IT efforts. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to share successes, challenges, potential solutions, and lessons learned on high-priority topics with leaders from within and outside of their state.
