                                        Description
Performance measurement of depression outcomes has been long focused on episode-based rather than population-inclusive measurement. Existing PHQ-9-based measure for depression response and remission faces feasibility difficulties with restrictive follow-up windows and inclusion requirements. Measurement with a population health perspective, consistent with other chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension, would improve incentives for depression measurement and provide more representative data on depression treatment outcomes.
Presentation Learning Objectives
                                    1) What are the different measures in the current quality landscape for depression?

3) How are HIEs uniquely positioned to make depression outcomes measurement easier?
