                                        Description
                                    Maternal health outcomes in Arkansas remain a critical priority, with statewide efforts focused on improving care coordination, early interventions, and access to essential health and social services. The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH), through its oversight of the Office of Health Information Technology, SHARE HIE, is leveraging real-time clinical data to enhance maternal and child health programs, ensuring early identification and proactive outreach for children, pregnant and postpartum women.
Presentation Learning Objectives
                                    1) Demonstrate the role of SHARE HIE in supporting Arkansas’s maternal health initiatives, including the TMaH Model, through real-time data access, interoperability, and ADT notifications.
2) Showcase how SHARE HIE strengthens maternal and child health outreach by integrating Medicaid rosters, WIC eligibility data, and maternal health programs into a unified collaboration approach for better care coordination.
3) Highlight best practices and lessons learned from Arkansas’s approach to using HIE as the foundation for maternal health transformation statewide.
