Description

The Janus Sobering Center has transformed behavioral health crisis management in Santa Cruz County by creating a data-driven intervention model that diverts intoxicated individuals from emergency rooms and jail. By partnering with law enforcement, healthcare providers, community organizations, and the HIE, the Sobering Center has significantly reduced emergency response strain while improving outcomes for individuals facing substance use challenges. This panel will showcase Janus’ innovative data-sharing model, and effective stakeholder engagement strategies.
